We recently conducted an educational session at Jyothi Orphanage focused on menstrual hygiene and safe pad disposal. The session included a live demonstration that explained practical and hygienic ways to dispose of sanitary products, using clear and age-appropriate guidance.

Along with the demonstration, we held an interactive tutorial session where we engaged with young girls in open conversations about menstrual health. The space encouraged questions, learning, and shared understanding, helping make the topic feel more approachable and less intimidating. Through discussion and simple explanations, we aimed to build awareness and confidence around everyday hygiene practices.

The experience highlighted the importance of hands-on education and open dialogue, especially in settings where access to information may be limited. By combining demonstration with interaction, the session supported learning in a respectful and empowering way, reinforcing the value of knowledge, dignity, and informed care.
