Our visit to Ohana School was a truly meaningful experience. We spent the day engaging with students from grades 5 and 6, creating a safe and open space to talk about menstrual health, curiosity, and breaking long-standing stigma. Through simple conversations and age-appropriate discussions, students were encouraged to ask questions and share their thoughts freely.

One of the highlights of the day was the poster competition on menstrual awareness and the theme “Periods in 2050.” The creativity and imagination displayed by the students were inspiring. Their posters reflected empathy, innovation, and a hopeful vision of a future where menstruation is understood without shame or silence.

The enthusiasm and openness of the students reminded us how powerful early education can be. Conversations like these help normalize menstrual health and lay the foundation for confidence, awareness, and respect from a young age.
